Whilst there was no sign of the Gavin & Stacey crew at the start line, 2 WRR
members took part in this year’s event. Barrybados certainly lived up to its nickname
with glorious sunshine though from a running perspective a little too much heat.
The race (the 3 rd in the Run 4 Wales 10k series) started and finished alongside the
seafront prom which looked splendid in the sunshine
An interesting route taking in a lot of the newly developed part of Barry and the Knap
areas with a few bumps included to make it unique from the other Run 4 Wales
events.
It was everything you come to expect from the Run 4 Wales team and obviously
because of its location meant that there were a number of options for a post race
drink, coffee, ice cream and with a number of runners cooling off with a dip in the sea
