Overcast, showery, nice cool running conditions....that was 2022.
The Pembrokeshire triathlon gods had different ideas in 2023, and with clear skies and bike & run temperatures in the mid-late 20s, it was a scorcher!!!
We had 7 members of WR3 take to the start line on North Beach, and it was iron-distance debuts for three of them.

Different challenges for everyone on the day, Ironman Wales certainly is a unique test of endurance. Big, big congratulations to all the above for conquering the conditions. Less luck for James Sidford who had to retire on the bike after gut issues, and we all wish Gaz a speedy recovery. Thanks to the WR3 fan-base who joined thousands roadside to cheer on the runners and riders.
