After several years of sunny, dry conditions for the Cardiff fixture, the recent rains left us with some classic cross-country conditions in 2023. Grass and mud were the order of the day, so out came the spikes - some of them looking particularly shiny and new.

As always, Gwent League, and particularly Cardiff Cross, attracts a star-studded line-up and this year was no different. We weren't quite on the heels of the Kenyans, but WRR were well represented with 12 runners in action – including some people doing XC for the first time. Congratulations to everyone who ran.
