A regular fixture in our club champs, round one of this year’s championship took place on 15th January, and was the famously flat and well organised Lliswerry 8 mile road race.

While usually quite a wet and windy race due to exposed country lanes, it was dry and almost still conditions (if you’ve run it before the usual 6 mile wind was almost non-existent).

Huge thanks to Lliswerry Runners for putting on another brilliant race! Course marshals, race number collection and the start pens were all fab.

The WRR finishers and leaderboard are as follows… you all earned the prized L8 long-sleeved t-shirt. Well done!
