First time for WR3 to attend this event which was also the Welsh Triathlon National Championship.

Nice small group of 80 triathletes attended including White Rock Tri's John Fitzpatrick and Chris Bloodworth.

The first run is out over a sand dune and then a lovely beach run with a turn around at the 2.5km point.

Back into T.1 and then a fast out and back on the bike route with a nice climb up to Harlech castle before turning around.

Run 2 - 2km run on the flat then 126 steps up to the castle  to the finish line !

Highly recommend this event , they also have a triathlon on the same day and the Worlds Steepest Road Race on the Saturday.

Harlech castle is a spectacular backdrop for this event.

Congratulations to White Rock Tri's very own John Fitpatrick who won his AG title.
